4. Keiko Agena Was 27 Years Of Age When The Show Started
Keiko Agena clearly has the gift of youthful looks on her side. When Gilmore Girls started, she was cast as fifteen year old school girl Lane Kim but the actress herself had just turned twenty-seven. This means she is actually closer in age to Lauren Graham, her best friend’s mother, than she is to Alexis Bledel, her long-term childhood friend.
But perhaps most surprising of all, Agena is older than Sean Gunn, who played the peculiar Kirk Gleason. We’re not sure what the official age of his character is but he’s definitely not supposed to be as young as a teenager in high school.
