3. Ted's Acapella Group Is Real

Throughout the show, nervous lawyer Ted Buckland was shown to be the frontman of his own acapella group, The Worthless Peons. The foursome often turned up to sing during tense or inappropriate moments, and were a great source of comedy on the show.

The group, though presented as fictional nuisances, were actually a real group called The Blanks, made up of Ted actor Sam Lloyd and his old college friends George Miserlis, Paul Perry and Philip McNiven. Lloyd had introduced the group to Bill Lawrence at a Christmas party, where Lawrence had an idea to make them a part of the show.

The Blanks released two albums of covers and original songs before Sam Lloyd's untimely passing in 2020.
