2. Galen Tyrol (Battlestar Galactica)
Galen Tyrol, affectionately referred to as Chief, is the deck chief on the reboot Battlestar Galactica. While he begins the series in a relatively simple position, juggling a successful job and a secret relationship with the smokin hot Boomer, the Chief's life gradually collapses throughout the four seasons of the show. First, his love interest turns out to be a Cylon, a member of the treacherous cyborg race that nearly wiped out mankind. Later, he finds out he himself is a Cylon sleeper agent. Then, his wife is murdered by one of his cohorts, being thrown out of the airlock. When the series concluded with the habitation of Second Earth, Tyrol separates himself from the crowd, and possibly ends up inhabiting the future area of Scotland. While he forages away from the other surviving humans and cyborgs, it'd have been nice to spend a couple years with the Chief, seeing how he acclimated to a new life, and mostly just make sure that the dude ends up okay.
