Tony Todd appeared as three different characters on-screen in Star Trek, as well as lending his voice to the video games. He played Kurn in The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, adult Jake Sisko in The Visitor, and played an Alpha Hirogen in the Voyager episode Prey. He reprised the role of Kurn in the video game Klingon Honor Guard, and played Kurn/General Rodek in Star Trek: Online. His final voice acting role for Trek was Korban in Star Trek: Elite Force II.

Todd was a prolific theatre actor, though to many he will be best known for his horror roles. He played Ben in Tom Savini's 1990 remake of Night Of The Living Dead, then originated the role of Daniel Robitaille/Candyman in the Candyman series, a role he reprised in the recent requel. He had a small part in 1997's Wishmaster, but his role as William Bludworth in the Final Destination series is both iconic and set to be one of his last on-screen performances, as Final Destination: Bloodlines is set to be released posthumously.

Todd was well-known to interact with fans, either at conventions or via his X account. A gentle giant, he was 69 years old when he died.
