His Dark Materials is definitely a show we haven't seen enough of. Running for two seasons and fifteen episodes, the dark fantasy-drama was renewed for a third and final season of eight episodes just last December.
With the major cast returning for one last ride - including Dafne Keen, James McAvoy and Ruth Wilson - the bar has been set high by the rest of the show. The third season promises to be quite the spectacle, and will air in the winter of 2021. A longer wait than many wanted, sure, but one sure to be worth it.
