25 Best Superhero TV Shows Of All Time

16. DC's Legends Of Tomorrow

Arrow Season 1
The CW

When DC's Legends of Tomorrow first debuted on our screens, the sheer thought of it ending up on one of these lists seemed unfathomable for some, simply because it had nothing original to offer its genre in spite of its ambitious premise. And then everything went batsh*t.

The decision to rewrite Legends' format in the second season so that it became a hilariously self-aware (and bonkers) parody of what it once was was nothing short of inspired. A show that once couldn't find its own identity was suddenly carving out a completely ludicrous one with each passing episode, as some of the Arrowverse's most beloved secondary characters battled an assortment of off-the-wall villains across time... and accidentally messed up the timeline while they were at it.

An unapologetically ridiculous series with impressive visuals and no regard for logic, Legends of Tomorrow turned into the Arrowverse's unexpected gem, producing some of the funniest, off-the-wall and surprisingly clever TV episodes of the past decade.

A redemption the likes of which no could have foresaw, it looks like it's true what they say: Outcasts and misfits really can become Legends.
