25 New And Returning TV Shows To Watch This Summer

Anyone who watches Game of Thrones is probably familiar with this show, as HBO has been airing commercials for it before every single episode this season.

The new HBO series will revolve around professional football players, both current and former, with the central character being a retired athlete played by Dwayne Johnson. 

HBO has really been hitting it out of the park with their original shows lately, and so Ballers seems like it could have potential. The presence of Dwayne Johnson alone makes it worth giving a chance. How can you not like the guy? 

The pilot episode was also directed by Peter Berg, known for creating Friday Night Lights. If this series can be even half as good as that show was, it'll definitely be worth watching.
