11. A Slade Reference?

Surely the last place that you’d expect to find a reference to British glam rockers Slade would be in The Flash, right? Apparently not.

With the Scarlet Speedster being taken to school by Atom-Smasher, Dr. Stein comes up with the idea to sound an alarm in order to distract the rogue and buy Barry some time.

As Cisco goes about putting this plan in place, he murmurs “Come on feel the noise” in what instantly brings back memories of Noddy Holder’s mutton-chopped face screaming “Cum on Feel the Noize”.
