A pitch-perfect satire of true crime documentaries? An authentic slice of high school life? An enthralling, weaving mystery? A vessel for a bucketload of hilarious dick jokes?

American Vandal, one of the outright funniest series of 2017, checked all four of the above on its way to becoming one of Netflix's biggest and most surprising hits of the year. The question is whether what seems like such a self-contained story can repeat the trick.

Season 2 will bring back, at the very least, student filmmakers Peter Maldonado and Sam Ecklund, but takes things to a very different school and features a different crime. It's unclear how they'll top 'who drew the dicks?' but, given how great Season 1 was, you'd back them to succeed.
