4 Ups & 3 Downs From Doctor Who Series 12 - Spyfall Part 2

1. We Finally Have A Series Arc

The Doctor Series 12

The weakest part of Series 11 was there being nothing tying the events together, or at least an underlying narrative you'd hope to see more of as the episodes continued. Bringing the villain from episode one back in episode ten doesn't exactly count as a series arc, but it looks to be that Series 12 has much more to it.

The Master claimed to have burned Gallifrey to the ground after he discovered the secret that would 'change everything.' Time Lord mythology was a lie, the elders of the Gallifreyan home world had lied to their people for generations. The 'Timeless Child' was the root of all of this. A line I thought was rather throwaway from Series 11's The Ghost Monument actually holds a huge meaning in Time Lord lore. The Doctor now will want to get to the bottom of this, and we'll find out in due course.
