5 HUGE Plot Holes You Didn't Notice In Crisis On Infinite Earths
1. Heroes Never Tell
Here's the thing; both Barry Allen and Oliver Queen knew that the Crisis was coming for quite some time. The former was aware of its impending arrival for over five years and, thanks to the help of the future newspaper, knew the intricate details of what would go down and what heroes he would ultimately need to stop it. The other, however, discovered it would come a year before it did and proceeded to prepare himself - and his own team for it. With that in mind, it's clear that it wasn't a major secret.
So, did nobody think it would be a good idea to tell Supergirl? Not only would the Girl of Steel have been one of their best hopes for stopping it, the knowledge would have allowed her and her team to prepare for the universe-altering event that was coming their way. However, nobody informed her about its arrival and, thus, she had to watch as a wave of antimatter wiped out her mother, the remnants of her home planet and, at one point in time, even Superman and Lois (who were ultimately saved at the last minute by Harbinger).
On top of that, her partners' baffling lack of discretion resulted in Earth-38 being left completely open to attack. As a result, they only had time to save 3 billion of its population, leaving another 4.53 billion people to die in the Crisis.
Sure, it was all undone when Oliver rebuilt the universe but, at the time, they didn't know that was destined to happen. And thus, fans are still left wondering why two thirds of the Arrowverse's long-standing trinity wouldn't have informed their most powerful teammate about the Crisis' impending arrival.
