7 Great Ways Luke Cage & Iron Fist Could Continue (That Probably Won't Happen)
2. Interactive Episodes
Netflix has trialled multiple-choice interaction with a number their kids shows. And rumors abound of the next series of Black Mirror taking on this piece of streaming wizardry in some form or another.
Let's cover one more time the imbalanced mental state of Luke Cage the last time we saw him. Surely as a reborn mobster with a supposedly just heart, he will be hit with the odd bout of indecision. Maybe the humble viewer could help him out with that. Maybe Iron Fist's semi-magical escapades are actually more like a child's adventure/quest book, and being accessory to the mystical journey could inject newfound zest in the viewer's relationship with Iron Fist.
But there is also another point to consider here. Particularly with Iron Fist, the masses seemed unhappy with the content, so why not let Netflix relinquish some control to the public, and see if the less forgiving audience members can walk the walk after talking the talk. It may just serve as a demonstration of how difficult good writing often turns out to be.
