The Terminator franchise is awash with returning characters and actors through all six of its instalments, but the unsung hero of the franchise is Michael Biehn.

Even though he only appeared in the first film, Biehn's performance as Kyle Reese is a major franchise highlight that has led to fans often beckoning for the actor to return to the franchise.

The Reese character is sent back in time to guard the life of Sarah Connor, who's being hunted by Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 due to her future son being the one who eventually topples the machines and saves humanity.

Season 3 of Stranger Things dropped some moments which heavily reminded viewers of The Terminator. Soviet hitman Grigori is a killing machine who, from the moments he enters the show, is a dead ringer for a Terminator, sporting short, spiked hair, a high collar jacket, and a dead-eyed stare that would be a match for Arnold.

As well as starring alongside Linda Hamilton in The Terminator, Biehn also appeared in another '80s sci-fi classic, playing Corporal Hicks in James Cameron's Aliens.
