7 Ways AMC Should End The Walking Dead

Honourable Mention: Rick Wakes Up From The Coma

It's always been a joke that the events of The Walking Dead might all simply be one long, hellish coma dream, but while that resolution has been written off as absurd, it wouldn't be entirely out of character for AMC to pull such a stunt for the finale.

The writers love their "gotcha!" moments (even though fans usually see them coming from a mile off), and going down the whole "it was all a dream" route would be entirely in line with what they think smart, subversive filmmaking is.

It would easily be the worst ending possible, but considering how off the rails The Walking Dead has got in recent years, pulling this might be so daft that it actually works.
