8 Sons Of Anarchy Spin-Offs Fans Would Love To See
2. The Tragedy Of The Teller Family
Kurt Sutter has said that with First 9 he wouldn’t want the story to run too far into the backstory told in Sons of Anarchy. However, while a First 9 series may not be the place to tell such a story, there would certainly be room for it in a prequel series if it was to be done right.
Jax Teller’s childhood was a tumultuous one, and is a story worth telling. From growing up with a father who was growing more and more distant, his mother growing closer with his father’s best friend, and the death of both his brother and his father, this could only build on the character of Jackson Teller.
Whether the focus was truly put on Jax, Thomas, or even Gemma, showing the strains put on the family by JT’s visits to Belfast and Clay’s intrusion into their relationship, this would have the opportunity to be every bit as heart-wrenching and explosive of Sons of Anarchy itself.
The would of course build up to finally seeing what truly happened to John Teller on the day he died. There has always been a cloud of mystery hovering over one of the most important deaths never actually shown in the series, and fans would absolutely lap it up.
