9. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Where We Left Off: After sending the Kraang armada back to its home dimension, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles still have to contend with the Shredder's dominance of the underworld and various other threats. Shredder has on his side not only the Foot, Bebop and Rocksteady, but a population of mind-controlling worms.
Where We're Going: Season 3 is almost done, with four episodes remaining. The Kraang is slated to return, followed by an even bigger threat to Earth.
Latest News: This latest incarnation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has gotten little press attention, almost completely overshadowed by the Michael Bay-driven movies, but continues to perform well in the ratings.
Tomatometer Score: None, but Metacritic has two reviews that average 82ish. There's no question this version is for kids, and the heavily computerized animation can be a bit distracting. But it grows on you and the adventures are generally amusing and exciting.
Season 3 Ends: September 27. Season 4 has been ordered.
