The ones who devote their lives to collecting Doctor Who memorabilia. They may not even watch the show as religiously as they used to anymore but their dedication to the collector cause still remains. Their bedroom - and, in some cases, their entire house - is bursting to the brim with toys, posters, DVDs, books and the odd life size replica to boot. In fact, you can't even move without bumping into a remote controlled Dalek or stepping on an action figure of the Tenth Doctor post-regneration edition. That's just the way they like it and in some ways it's something to be admired. Any shrine to Doctor Who is a miraculous thing and the lengths that some collectors are willing to go to in order to secure another prized possession is truly remarkable. Some travel the country to get their hands on a particular item and an auction is always a guaranteed way to get your hands on a rare prop from the series. They're willing to fork out a mighty sum to claim ownership over it, too, which is a difficult concept for many to grasp but if it's making them happy, why not? Once again, it comes down to the happiness thing. Collecting Doctor Who merchandise makes these fans happy and the fact they've bought every Doctor Who Annual is 1975 is a feat they're genuinely proud of. They're not hurting anybody (except for themselves when they step on that aforementioned action figure that's somehow found itself away from the pack...) so don't be a hater. Speaking of which...
