9 Things You Learn Rewatching Game Of Thrones Season 8

7. Cersei is massively under used

Game Of Thrones Season 8
HBO

With Thrones, we found a star in Lena Headey. Sure, she was a known actress most famous for her role as Sarah Connor in the Terminator TV series. But her turn as Cersei Lannister will go down as her crowning achievement. A complex, almost Shakespearian tragedy of a character, we couldn't wait to see what schemes she had in wait for the final season.

And my goodness were we so disappointed by how little screen time Cersei actually got. Season 8 lasted around 7 hours 10 minutes, Cersei was the focus for about 25 of those minutes, which is absolutely disgraceful for who is supposed to be one of the main antagonists of the show.

It's understandable to some extent because half of the season is focused on the threat of the White Walkers, but when she is the focus it's of very little consequence, spending most of her time staring off into the distance.

When she's allowed to act, she gives it her absolute all, especially when opposite brother Jamie. We all just wish there was more of it, Lena deserves it
