Agents Of SHIELD: 10 Things That Need To Happen In Season 3

4. Repercussions From Age Of Ultron, Civil War

Despite rumours that Agents Of SHIELD's third season will set the stage directly for Civil War, with Frank Grillo reprising his role of Brock Rumlow from the second Captain America film and killing Ward for messing up the plans of HYDRA, the actor has said he doesn't have any interest introducing Crossbones on the small screen. Bummer.

Because now more than ever, Agents Of SHIELD needs to be addressing the repercussions of the rest of the MCU. The first season basically had to, with The Winter Soldier dismantling the organisation that's in the title. Now that superheroes are a regular thing in this universe, events are happening on a more global scale.

With SHIELD's peackeeping mission taking in the whole globe, it wouldn't make sense for it to ignore, say, the aftermath of Age Of Ultron (flying city in Eastern Europe probably requires a little clean up) and the divided political lines of the upcoming Civil War. Maybe some introduction of the latter's themes, about distrusting super-people and so on?
