Agents Of SHIELD Season 7: Ranking Each Character By How Likely They Are To Die
1. Phil Coulson
At this point, Coulson has died more times than Sean Bean. His death in the film The Avengers kickstarts the plot of Agents of SHIELD, and the character has since died again in Season 5 and halfway through Season 7, finding himself revived every time.
Though Coulson is an LMD this season, he still feels like his old self. Knowing he's not a real person could prompt Coulson to sacrifice himself for an actual human being.
As May reminds us this season, Coulson always comes back. What, then, is a more appropriate way to end the show than Coulson dying and staying dead? That way, Coulson's death would book end the series, marking both its start and its end. Coulson not coming back would truly feel like the end of Agents of SHIELD.
