Agents Of SHIELD: 15 Things You Need To Know Before Season 2 Starts
6. Melinda May Is Still Silent But Deadly
At the start of the series, resident badass and jet-plane pilot Melinda May (known as 'The Cavalry' among SHIELD agents due to an often told - and fairly apocryphal - tale about her one-woman standoff against a horde of enemies) was a stonewall emotionally. That's enough to rattle anybody, even one as well-versed in the art of keeping it in as May, but that inner turmoil won't be on show until at least season three or five, according to Ming-Na Wen. The actor wants to keep Agent May as professional as possible, but we're not sure she'll be able to keep a lid on things if events end up getting as tumultuous as the teasers are promising...
