7. Skye Is Actually Kind Of Cool Now

Previously a semi-annoying computer whiz who edged her way onto Coulson's special ops team with barely so much as an entry exam, Skye (played by former almost-successful Chinese pop star Chloe Bennett) proved her worth in the latter half of season 1 by showing she had the courage and wits to become at least an agent with Level 1 clearance by year's end. And now it looks like she's running stealth missions and operating in the field with the rest of the specialists, if the trailer and promotional stills for season 2 are anything to go by. And it's actually...kind of believable. All of the characters went through a lot during that first season, especially Skye, who got pulled out of her not-so-glamorous hacktivist lifestyle and thrown into deadly situation after deadly situation, ultimately ending up getting shot for her trouble. If she could recover than that and still remain standing then she must be pretty tough, and we're likely to see that this season.
