Sadistic little Tate Langdon's motives may have been genuine (promising Nora Montgomery a baby), but this can't excuse his bloody actions. Same-sex couple Chad and Patrick were mentioned in the pilot episode as the previous owners of the fabled Murder House, but realtor Marcy was sketchy about their details. What at first looked like a murder/suicide, transpired as a full on attack by Tate...in full rubber gimp outfit. With a same-sex couple not able to provide the Montgomery baby, they had to be out!
Take your pick on which of the pair had the worst demise - Chad has his neck snapped in an apple-bobbing barrel, whilst Patrick is bludgeoned, then anally penetrated, with a fire iron. With their bodies dragged into the basement, it is revealed that Chad is still alive, and after a short fight with Rubber Man/Tate, is then forced to turn the gun on his own heart to make out he was the killer.
