American Horror Story: Every Villain Ranked Worst To Best
14. Richard Ramirez (1984)
Bringing real-life serial killer Richard Ramirez into the show's latest season was a risky move, but one that paid off wonderfully thanks to Zach Villa's terrifying and often darkly comical performance.
Ramirez had originally turned up in Hotel, played then by Anthony Ruivivar, but it wasn't until 1984 that Ryan Murphy really took advantage of the character. As one of the season's primary villains, Ramirez oozed sinister charisma and spent his screen time earning his infamous Night Stalker moniker and clashing with Mr Jingles.
The killer's involvement in the show could have been a stretch too far, but ended up being one of 1984's best creative moves.
