With Oliver and Felicity riding off into the sunset together at the end of season 3, it'll be up to the remaining members of Team Arrow - which now includes Thea, going by the name Speedy - to protect Starling City in their absence. Hopefully the trio can get plenty of interesting material in that time, which will then continue throughout the season. Diggle, in particular, has too often been relegated to a bit-part player, when he should very much be on the frontlines. He'll be leading the team in Oliver's absence, so that'll give him more to do, but hopefully beyond that there'll be a meatier arc for him. This includes H.I.V.E. and the resolution of his brother's murder, and of course his relationship with Oliver, which was left completely broken at the end of last season. Meanwhile, Laurel is set to continue her development into the fully-blown Black Canary, which means the show should be able to do more with her. Her relationship with her father has collapsed to the detriment of both characters, and hopefully that's something that can be fixed this year, while there's also the small matter of her sister coming back to life (again). Thea is new to the vigilante world, so her introduction to that will be interesting to follow, but as the season goes on they'll need to do more to keep her plot interesting, perhaps by involving her with Malcolm and the League, or showing the dark side effects of the Lazarus Pit.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
