Arrow Season 4: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

2. Felicity€™s Mid-Season Fate

As soon as the first episode of Season 4 transitioned from a shot of an engagement ring to a gravesite, many quickly jumped ahead and predicted that fan-favourite Felicity Smoak would be the one who Oliver is seen mourning for. That could still very well prove to be the case, but the mid-season finale saw an even more shocking happening in regards to Miss Smoak. Whilst the first episode threw up Felicity as a possibility to bite the bullet, the mid-season finale saw Oliver€™s newly-crowned fiancé literally riddled with bullets after the limo escorting her and Ollie came under attack. Given that the two got engaged during the last 5 minutes of the mid-season finale, long-time fans of the show knew that it couldn€™t end on such a happy note, but it was still a jaw-dropper to see Felicity full of bullets and seemingly dying in Oliver€™s arms. Promo work suggests that Felicity may well survive this attack, but even then she€™s not totally ruled out of being the one housed in the grave that Oliver will be visiting in a few months€™ time.
