Arrow Season 4: 12 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Broken Hearts'
8. Will We Get More Courtroom Drama
Making A Murderer. The People v O.J. Simpson. Courtroom dramas are 'in' right now, and they've already made the move to the suphero realm in Daredevil's second season.
Arrow - not for the first time in its run, but definitely better this time around - gets in on the action itself this week, and it makes for some compelling viewing. Damien Darhk doesn't utter a single word and is still the best thing here, but there's plenty of great drama with Quentin on the stand, and it's a good change of pace to see Laurel getting a chance to put her lawyer skills to good use.
There's the potential for a full trial of Damien Darhk, which could make for some interesting viewing, but will the season go that way? It seems unlikely, as he'll no doubt escape jail, but it'd certainly be fun to have at least a little bit more of the courtroom drama, which was the more interesting element of this episode.
