Arrow Season 5 Finale: 8 Big Questions We Need Answers To

Although the real Laurel is no longer around, Black Siren has caused some serious problems ever since her journey from Earth-2. Now, with her being indebted to Prometheus, she will likely put up a decent fight against Team Arrow in order to help repay that debt. However, with the character's gradual development from villain to a morally grey type (the kindness she showed towards Lance indicates she's got some heart), Black Siren still has some developing to do beyond the season finale.

It was confirmed that actress Katie Cassidy would be a series regular once more next season as Black Siren, so she'll be sticking around after the final Prometheus showdown concludes. The question is, what exactly will her role be on a week-to-week basis? Team Arrow already has another Black Canary with Dinah, so how does Black Siren figure into the dynamic? Most likely, she'll be a Killer Frost type in that she'll assist the main villain, but will have moments here and there that remind viewers she's more than just another antagonist.

Katie Cassidy was always a solid part of the Arrow cast, so finding a way to keep her around is worth looking into. It'll be interesting to see if she'll always be antagonistic, or if she will eventually join Team Arrow sometime in the future. It may be a stretch, but if Oliver can work with Merlyn, then working with Black Siren surely isn't impossible.
