Arrow Season 7: 5 Major Questions That Must Be Answered Before The Finale

1. Is There More To Laurel Than Just Black Siren?

As viewers, we already know the answer to this question. The problem is that the writers apparently do not. So where does that leave us?

Over the last two years, Earth-2's Laurel Lance has undergone one of the most compelling redemptions on TV today. Once a villainous lieutenant for some of the worst Big Bads that the Arrowverse had to offer, she unexpectedly ended up caring about her father's Earth-1 doppelganger Quentin Lance and, following his death, she sought to honour his memory, officially taking up the identity of Earth-1 Laurel to become Star City's new District Attorney.

Since doing that, it's clear that the character has turned over a new leaf. While she, like most of us, still struggles with falling into old habits, the strength of her development always wins out - highlighting just how far she has come as a character. However, recently, the writers began throwing a lot at her in a bid to test her in an entirely new way.

With the city now aware of her former criminal activity, she is faced with a choice: Weathering the impending media storm or dropping the pretence altogether.

But was it all just a pretence, or will the bonds that Laurel has recently formed with Felicity and Dinah save her from going down a dark path? Though viewers can see that she has indeed changed, the writers are intent on bringing Black Siren back in the upcoming episode, leaving us all wondering if they can give her the redemption she truly deserves.
