Arrowverse: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best

11. Supergirl Season 4

Supergirl The Quest For Peace
The CW

Supergirl has proven it can tackle important issues and its fourth installment highlighted that as the rise of Agent Liberty allowed the writers to delve into an aliens vs. humans narrative that unapologetically asked hard-hitting questions about racism and bigotry.

It's also notable for adapting the Superman: Red Son story through its Red Daughter arc and for being the season that finally introduced Lex Luthor. And thanks to a show-stealing turn from Jon Cryer, Lex's arrival was worth the wait.

Its serious approach did take a little of the light-hearted sheen off it, but it was a price worth paying because the writers outdid themselves here, putting Supergirl back on top where she belonged.
