Banshee: 9 Reasons To Be Excited About Season 4

3. Burton And Calvin Bunker Have Bigger Roles In Season Four

With the Aryan Brotherhood back to spread more hatred around Banshee, it makes sense that their leader Calvin Bunker will have a bigger role to play in season four. This was confirmed when Cinemax announced that the actor who plays the character, Chris Coy, has been promoted to series regular.

With this in mind, expect deputy Kurt Bunker to be a major player in the show€™s final run. The last time we saw him, he was having his tattoos scorched off by his former brethren, as punishment for turning his back on the Aryan ideology.

After serving as Proctor€™s multifaceted and lethal righthand man during seasons one to three, fan-favourite killing machine Burton (Matthew Rauch) has also been bumped up from recurring character to series regular.

His painful backstory was illuminated during the penultimate season, and further light will no doubt be shed on his past during the final eight episodes. This is where we learn that he was created by Skynet in a post-apocalyptic future and sent back in time to protect Kai Proctor from a rival mechanical threat.
