Battlestar Galactica: The Wildly Varied Career Of Lee "Apollo" Adama

10. Lt. Lee Adama, Raptor Pilot (Pegasus, Resurrection Ship Part I—Season 2, Episodes 10-11)

Battlestar Galactica Starbuck Apollo
Universal

When the Galactica encounters another Battlestar, the Pegasus, William Adama finds himself no longer in charge of the Colonial Fleet. The Pegasus is commanded by Admiral Cain, Adama’s superior, who decides to reallocate crew members as she sees fit.

Apollo is relieved of his duties on Galactica and transferred to the Pegasus, where he is given the humiliating task of co-piloting a Raptor. Even so, he and Starbuck are able to out-maneuver the poor military strategy of the Pegasus CAG and are instrumental in destroying a Cylon resurrection ship.

Earning the ire of the admiral, Apollo finds himself demoted to Lieutenant, and serving under Starbuck's command. However, this state of affairs does not last long--following the death of Admiral Cain, Apollo is reinstated as Captain and returns to serve on Galactica.
