Better Call Saul Season 5 - 5 Things We Can't Wait To See
1. ...But Kim Won't Like It
Kim Wexler has been a fascinating character throughout Better Call Saul's run, the moral compass to 'Slippin Jimmy' and his biggest supporter as she tried to keep him on the straight-and-narrow. She is Jimmy's closest friend and ally, putting her own career on the line to help him and at times, caving in to his temptations to carry out his scams. She knows he's far from perfect, but has continued to try to bring out the best side of him.
But the look on her face at the end of last season said it all. After realising Jimmy's account of his brother to the Bar Association appeal board was not actually genuine, but a last-minute improvised play to be re-instated, she realised she had been duped just as much as the panel had (and the audience to a degree).
Kim likely won't turn on Jimmy straight off the back of this scene (after all, we have seen them kissing in the new season trailer), but she will be starting to doubt her friend and question if he's taking his own idea of the law too far. Saul Goodman will be everything Kim tried to dissuade her friend from doing, and she won't like it. There will be more conflict between the pair as a result.
