Burger of The Day: The Who Wants To Be A Scallionare Burger?

The Oeder Games was a great way of finishing off season five as it utilised the entire cast by bringing them all together to protest against Mr. Fischoeder for threatening to raise the rent. But the eccentric landlord doesn’t do anything normally and as a way of ending the protest, he hosts a water balloon fight between the tenants. The one who remains dry will have their rent price slashed in half whilst the others increase.

It’s a hilarious set-up and a very unique storyline that moves away from the restaurant set piece for once. There are plenty of hilarious little B-plots, such as Jimmy Jr and Zeke fighting for Tina and the casual reappearance of Felix Fischoeder, this time round in a much nicer role.

And it’s refreshing to see Bob actually get a win for once. As he’s the last man standing, it seems as though he has the power to turn the game around and stop the nonsensical fighting. But the unfair Fischoeder changes the rules so that everyone except Bob can have their rent lowered. Just when it seems all over for the Belcher family, Linda steps in to defend her husband and the townspeople realise turning on Bob was stupid, thus reassuring a sense of community back into Ocean Avenue.
