4. Mad Men

In the world of Mad Men you can say what you want, do what you want and most importantly sleep with who ever you want. Mad Men looks at impeccably-dressed creative director Don Draper at advertising agency Sterling Cooper in 1950s and 60s New York. Along with Don you are treated to the comedy delight that is Roger Sterling, secretarial misfit Peggy and just great television drama all round, really. There have been six series of the show and they just seem to get better. Though it is worth noting that the first few episodes are slow, compared to the high octane nature of Breaking Bad, but they are just setting up the characters and the plot. Once everything is set-up, the whole enterprise becomes an irresistible treat containing well-rounded characters to which you can't help but be drawn.
