Breaking Bad: 16 Examples Of Obnoxious Behaviour That Didn’t Involve Murder Or Cooking Meth

12. Hank's Misogyny

Breaking Bad Hank And Gomie Hank Schrader was a misogynist, and this was an obnoxious trait. He's always mocking Gomey's Hispanic heritage; he put an ugly, condescending spin on the "berg" part of the lawyer Dan Wachsberg's name, etc. It seems like Hank consistently looked for any opportunity to be a bigot. One of Hank's favorite targets was Mexicans. He consistently referred to them as "beaners." Granted, Gomey would stand up for his heritage on occasion, but Hank was relentless. One time Gomey did zing Hank a good one was when Hank referred to the hated and sought after Tuco Salamanca as one of Gomez's "homeys." This p**sed Gomey off. We could tell. So he fired back with "Tuco wasn't my homey €” any more than Charlie Manson was yours." Good one, Steve. But Hank would always have another one. His radio check was "Pancho Villa Salma Hayek, Pancho Villa Salma Hayek, you getting that?" to which Gomey replied, "Loud and clear, idiota." Guess Gomey knew an idiot when he worked with one.
