The Role: Recurred as Todd in season five's first half before being bumped to the main cast for the second half.

Last year, Plemons worked with Tommy Lee Jones in the actor's directorial endeavor The Homesman, popped up as Edgar Allan Poe in an episode of Comedy Central's Drunk History and appeared in HBO's acclaimed acclaimed mini-series adaptation of Elizabeth Strout's Olive Kitteridge.

While 2015 has been relatively silent for the actor so far, he's set to turn up in the highly anticipated second season of FX's Fargo, as mobster Kevin Weeks in the Johnny Depp-led Black Mass and as real-life bicyclist Floyd Landis in the Lance Armstrong biopic The Program.

He's also lined up to star alongside Tom Cruise in director Doug Liman's 2017 film Mena and with Sissy Spacek in Chris Kelly's Other People, where he'll play a gay Saturday Night Live writer dealing with the emotional fallout of a breakup, his mother's terminal cancer and his father's strictly conservative beliefs about his sexual identity.
