There are plenty of endearing and memorable aspects to Jake Peralta, such as his goofy personality, genuinely phenomenal detective skills, and various catchphrases, but one of his most identifiable traits is his overwhelming obsession with the movie Die Hard.

Jake has made it very clear that he became a police officer because of his undying love for this action flick. This obsession has even led to some great episodes such as Yikkie Kiyak and 99. Thanks to this, it is essential that the show gets a chance to allow Jake to meet his hero John McClane - otherwise known as Bruce Willis.

Getting Bruce Willis wouldn't just make for a great pay-off to this narrative, it would also be the best celebrity cameo by far. The show is famed for casting some great personalities in small roles, but this one would easily rank above the rest due to Willis' star power, and the well planted Die Hard seeds.

This is such an obvious choice that the fans are lobbying for it to happen. Samberg himself has tried to appeal to Willis on many occasions - notably on chat shows like Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show - and finally seeing this pay off is critical for the show's final season.
