Brooklyn Nine-Nine is very much the little engine that could when it comes to the greats of modern-day sitcom TV. Where other sitcoms have triumphed from the get-go, the crew of the 99 Precinct have had to earn their plaudits on a more gradual basis, with the series going from strength to strength across its seven seasons so far.
