3. Alyson Hannigan (Willow Rosenberg)
Willow Rosenberg had an epic and tough character over her seven season tenure on the show, and because of her performance Alyson Hannigan hasn't really slowed down to take a breath since the show came to an end.
Leaving Buffy after its final season, Hannigan went to star in the now classic sitcom How I Met Your Mother, where she played the bubbly and bizarre Lily Aldrin alongside the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, Cobie Smulders and her on-screen husband Jason Segel. She portrayed Lily for nine seasons over as many years.
She also had guest roles on shows such as Veronica Mars, King of the Hill, and That 70s Show, and reprised her iconic role from the American Pie franchise in the hysterical American Reunion (2012).
Since 2016, she has hosted the competition show Penn & Teller: Fool Us, and has been married to brief Buffy co-star Alexis Denisof since 2003.
