Buffy The Vampire Slayer Cast: Where Are They Now?
4. Anthony Stewart Head (Rupert Giles)
Before being cast Buffy's resident Watcher and father figure Rupert Giles, Anthony Stewart Head was best known for a series of adverts he made for Nescafe coffee. He starred in Buffy for the first five seasons, with seasons Six and Seven featuring him in only a recurring capacity.
Following the end of the show, he has starred in a series of big movies, including the comedy The Inbetweeners Movie, the fantasy action Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, the biographical drama The Iron Lady (all 2011), and the teen action Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013). He most recently appeared in the drama A Street Cat Named Bob (2016).
Despite this - and much like the rest of the cast - Head has mostly stuck to TV roles. He played the Prime Minister in Little Britain from 2003 to 2006, and had a main role in the fantasy series Merlin between 2008 and 2012. He also narrated a documentary series about Doctor Who, and most recently lent his talents to the Netflix series The Stranger.
He can also often be heard on the radio taking part in comedy skits, and has released a total of three albums, including one with his former band Two Way.
