Community: Ranking Every Season Finale Worst To Best
4. Pascal's Triangle Revisited (Season One)
Typically, the first season of a show doesn't act as a complete representation of what makes the series great. There's always some teething problems that hold the inaugural outing back a little, but that wasn't the case with Community. That much can be seen in this final episode which paid off plenty of questions and had fun along the way.
The episode's narrative centres on Britta and Professor Slater's battle for Jeff's affections. After being nominated for "Transfer Queen", Britta seeks the dance as an opportunity to announce her feelings for Jeff, while his ex, Slater, takes it as her chance to win him back.
Alongside this comes two emotional side-stories, one of which shows as Troy can't understand why Abed doesn't want to live with him, and the other follows Annie facing the prospect of leaving Greendale.
While the Jeff/Britta romance wasn't to everyone's taste, it was hilarious to see her go all out to beat Slater. Plus, the final moments, which saw Jeff put under pressure to pick one, were cringe-inducing but hilarious.
It wasn't the most inventive or exciting outing, but it did justice to all the characters, gave a spotlight on the underused Professor Slater and featured the shock ending that began the Jeff/Annie romance.
