Community: Ranking Every Season Finale Worst To Best
2. Emotional Consequences Of Broadcast Television (Season Six)
It's safe to say that season six of Community wasn't entirely what fans were hoping for. The loss of characters was noticeable, the show's vibe felt off, and a lot of the episodes were duds. However, fans will always remain thankful that it managed to send the series off with a great final episode.
The last outing for Community was a straightforward one that saw Jeff and the rest of the Save Greendale Committee sitting in a bar and discussing what to do next "season". They ran through their pitches for what happens next, and it was a delightful yet sombre experience.
This episode concept is entirely fourth-wall-breaking and meta, so it's right in Dan Harmon's wheelhouse, meaning it had tonnes of creativity (including a cameo from his Rick & Morty partner in crime, Justin Roiland). This helped the final episode to feel fresh and fun.
However, this is also one of the most emotional outings in the show, as you get a definitive ending for certain characters, a beautiful moment between Jeff/Annie and a true sense that the show is finally over.
