4. Strange Bedfellows
After being evicted by ex hubby Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), Tracy (Kate Ford) and housemate Beth Tinker (Lisa George) find themselves out on their ear. Beth doesn't waste time snapping up a flat however, even beating Tracy to the punch, and with no where else to turn, Tracy pleads with Ken to let her move back into the Barlow's, but he flatly refuses her request. Kindly neighbor Emily Bishop (Eileen Derbyshire) then offers to put her up, and with the good natured christian sharing a roof with the hell raising, convicted murderer and former jailbird, this most certainly is a case of strange bedfellows. Emily quickly realises she may have bitten off more than she can chew when Beth storms into her house and rows with Tracy over some lipstick. Will Tracy outstay her welcome and find herself homeless?
