Curb Your Enthusiasm: 10 Moments Where Larry David Was Right

6. Big Dog€™s Cabinet Space €“ (S8 Ep 4)

BigdogThe Context: Larry€™s office floor gets a new tenant, Dino from Big Dog Productions, who everyone calls €˜Big Dog€™. Upon arrival, Big Dog politely asks Larry if he can have one of the three cabinets in the office kitchen, to which Larry kindly agrees. Harmless enough so far. The Issue: Things escalate real quick in this one. Before Larry knows it Big Dog has taken two of the three cabinets, and even put labels on them to prevent Larry reclaiming them. He also crams all of Larry€™s food into one cabinet on the end, leaving no room for any more. Credit to Larry in this situation, it€™s probably one of his most pragmatic moments in all eight seasons. What Big Dog did was disrespectful and unfair, but Larry offers to resolve the issue by sharing the middle cabinet. Big Dog irrationally refuses however, and even bans Larry from using the kitchen counter as a storage space. The resulting argument leads to Big Dog changing the kitchen lock and claiming it for his company only. Larry David has been wrong many times, but in this scenario it was Big Dog who was the selfish prick, well done Larry!
