5. Dr. Strange
Despite the fact that Marvel has indicated that they aren't in any rush to intertwine their television and movie universes any time soon, that could be changing as the TV corner of Marvel continues to grow in popularity. With the Doctor Strange movie hitting theatres in the fall of 2016, there's a case to be made that helping establish the Sorceror Supreme - a far lesser known property with mainstream audiences - in as many different outlets as possible can only benefit Marvel. There's already a rumor floating around that Stephen Strange will be appearing in Iron Fist, and while that's yet to be confirmed it would make a great deal of sense considering the two heroes' connection to each other. Benedict Cumberbatch is a highly sought-after actor and his time is limited, so perhaps Marvel can bring him on board for a quick cameo in several of their Netflix shows? Not to mention, any Defenders team without Dr. Strange won't feel quite as authentic.
