17. The AWESOME Prison Escape (Episode 4, "Blindsided")

The season's fourth episode serves up arguably the most impressive and memorable fight scene from any of the Marvel Netflix shows.

When Matt heads to Ryker's Island disguised as Foggy (Elden Henson) to get the low-down on the Albanians, an attempt is made on his life, kickstarting an epic, 10-minute set-piece as Matt fights his way out.

The digital seams blending the separate takes together into one "unbroken" shot are obvious if you're looking for them, but that takes little away from a technically breathtaking, beautifully brutal sequence involving tons of actors and countless complex moving parts.

Especially impressive is how much of the stunt-work Charlie Cox is clearly performing himself, and how seamlessly we switch between Cox and his stuntman.

It again reiterates just how much more effort is put into Daredevil's action compared to the shows of his Defenders comrades.
