Daredevil Season 3: 9 Reasons To Be Excited

1. It Has Everything To Prove

As covered in the introduction, the status of Netflix's Marvel universe has entered a bit of a rough patch recently. Being the centrepiece of these shows though, there's far more riding on Daredevil to either prove that the whole enterprise still has what it takes to be relevant, or seemingly confirm the decline.

Fortunately, the writers have to know this as well, and the appointment of a new showrunner Erik Oleson (who was in charge of a short stint on Arrow), as well as the confidence of the cast, seems to point towards renewed energy on set.

It helps that the new storyline and characters about to be introduced are all from some of the best runs from the source material as well, and it's clear that everyone is committed to doing them justice. In all honesty if the latest season can't do something special with this set up, then it will probably never reach the potential hinted at in its earlier years.
