9. Stein Does Know Ray

After all of that bravado about not remembering his apparent-star pupil Ray Palmer, we found out here that Martin Stein does know who Ray is and his decision to not acknowledge him was all down to some silly jealousy over what the young Palmer was achieving. This certainly made Stein look like a little bit of a petty d*ck, but it also served as a timely ego boost for Palmer ahead of donning his Atom suit once more and heading inside Kendra Saunders. It sure was a mightily convenient pep talk from Stein, and happened just when Ray needed it most. Perfect timing, right?
