DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: 14 WTF Moments From 'Blood Ties'

8. Snart Squared

Wow. In terms of WTF moments from Blood Ties, does it get any more surprising and freaky than Leonard Snart meeting his younger self? Actually, whilst initially a shocker, the moment soon became ever-so poignant and tender€ well, until Lewis Snart, Cold€™s father, turned up and aimed a gun at his future son. Until then, though, we saw future Leonard talking to younger Leo and imparting some wisdom on him. €œDon€™t ever let anyone hurt you€, was Captain Cold€™s wise words for his younger self, as we got to see a gentler, caring side to this rogue. Following this, we€™d also then get the full specifics of Cold€™s plan of stealing the Maximillian Emerald. It turns out that his old man was due to steal this in just a matter of days, getting caught in the process and ending up locked up in Iron Heights for 5 years. Upon serving his time, he€™d then start beating his own kids and give them a tortured childhood. The future Leonard Snart, through gritted teeth, explains to his father how it€™s taking everything in his being to stop him from ending him here and there, and it€™s only because his sister hasn€™t been born yet that he€™s being so restrained. Again, Captain Cold becomes the show€™s MVP and steals yet another episode as we get to know more and more about this so-called rogue.
